Do you offer wedding photography?

No, we don’t. When launching Elyria Weddings, we gave this a lot of thought. While we have a strong passion for photography, we chose to dedicate ourselves fully to wedding films. By focusing on videography alone, we can pour all our energy and creativity into crafting the best possible cinematic experience for our couples.

What is your style?

To describe it in one word: cinematic. Our approach is to film and edit your wedding as if it were a movie. We aim to move away from the typical “documentary style” and instead create a cinematic experience where every detail of your day is captured with the skill and care it deserves.

What if I’m uncomfortable being on camera?

It’s completely normal to feel a little awkward; most couples do! We keep things relaxed and natural, capturing your day as it really happens. No stiff poses, no pressure, just gentle guidance here and there to make sure everything looks beautiful.

Can we change packages or add extras after the initial payment has been made?

Of course! This is your day. If you’d like to add something later on, just let us know; we’ll make it happen.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Since we only book one wedding per day, this ensures we’re fully committed to you and won’t take on anyone else.

Do you travel outside of Melbourne for weddings?

Yes! We’re based in Melbourne but travel across Victoria, interstate, and for destination weddings. Please note travel expenses may apply.

Can we use any song for a wedding video?

We can’t use just any song due to copyright rules. Popular tracks may be muted or removed on social media, so we use licensed or royalty-free music to ensure your wedding video can be shared freely.

How far in advance should we book our wedding video?

As far in advance as possible! To have one less thing to worry about, we recommend booking our services as soon as your wedding date is confirmed. We can only take a limited number of weddings each year, so securing your date early is key.
